Southmoreland's COVID-19 Response
Southmoreland has always sought to provide a safe haven for our guests, support them throughout their stays, and connect them to all Kansas City has to offer.
Our actions during the COVID-19 pandemic are focused on the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and guests and build on existing rigorous safety and cleanliness protocols.
All rooms will be meticulously cleaned and sanitized, using professionally certified products effective against COVID-19. Each room will be disinfected after each guest’s departure.
Additional measures are being taken with a focus on your safety and peace of mind, such as contactless check-in and check-out, more frequent sanitization with ECOLAB disinfectants, and the use of cold fogger solutions to kill the virus in 30 minutes.
Additional measures we are taking to ensure your safety:
- Removing certain high-touch items from guestrooms
- Personal protective equipment for all staff, worn in accordance with local guidance
- Guests are required to wear face masks or coverings at all times while in hotel indoor public areas and when moving around in outdoor areas.
