Southmoreland is a historic 1913 Mansion located at the heart of Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza, offering a unique alternative to traditional downtown hotels.
The main floor features a living room with a gas fireplace and wet bar, a dining room with a lengthy wood table, and a sunroom with a porch swing, boasting scenic views through floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden in summer.
The second-floor room offers a sunny, cheerful ambiance with a king-sized platform bed, vintage blush tones, and neutrals, complemented by a 32-inch deep soaking tub and a private deck with a treetop view.
The property accommodates intimate gatherings or events, hosting up to 28 guests for a stayover and 40 guests for onsite events, with versatile spaces like the harvest dining room, sunroom, veranda, and outdoor patio.
For guest convenience, the property ensures 24-hour secure access, equipped with WiFi-enabled locks using unique codes for entrance and room access. Contactless check-in is available for ease and flexibility.
While the room offers privacy without staff interruptions, guest support is a phone call away during daytime hours, and an answering service is available for concerns or emergencies in the evenings.
