Southmoreland, a historic mansion built in 1913, is dedicated to providing hospitality and comfort in the heart of Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza.

The main floor features a living room with a gas fireplace and wet bar, a dining room with a lengthy wood table, and a sunroom with a porch swing. The veranda offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden in summer.
The Pennsylvania Quaker roots inspire the Coates guest room, adorned with handmade Shaker furnishings, a queen-sized pencil post bed, and artwork. The room includes a full bath with a combined shower/tub and a covered outdoor deck with a traditional porch swing.
Sumptuous seating and contemporary ease characterize the entire house, making it an ideal location to unwind. With spaces like the harvest dining room, sunroom, veranda, and outdoor patio, the property can accommodate 28 guests for a stayover and up to 40 guests for an onsite event, perfect for intimate family gatherings, weddings, or corporate events.
The property offers 24-hour secure access with WiFi-enabled locks on guest entrance and interior room doors. Contactless check-in is provided for ease and flexibility during arrival, ensuring a secure and comfortable stay.
