Southmoreland, a historic 1913 Mansion located in the heart of Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza, is dedicated to providing a unique alternative to classic downtown hotels with a focus on hospitality and comfort.
The main floor features a living room with a gas fireplace and wet bar, a dining room with a lengthy wood table, and a sunroom with a porch swing. The veranda offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden in the summer.
Guestrooms showcase unique Mission era furniture, including a queen-sized oak and copper four-poster bed, creating a historic context with select Benton works. The second-floor room includes a private deck and a full bath, immersing guests in Kansas City's history.
The House accommodates up to 28 guests for a stayover and up to 40 guests for onsite events, making it an ideal venue for intimate family gatherings, weddings, or corporate events.
